Manama: Sept. 17 -- (BNA)-- Bahraini daily newspapers this morning affirmed that the historic visit by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the friendly People's Republic of China has accomplished outstanding success and ushered in a new phase in bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and China, boosted cooperation relations and magnified mutual benefit aimed to achieve mutual interests of both friendly countries and peoples. |

SCW Announces the Launch of the 4th Edition of HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Women Empowerment |

(BNA) -- In line with the belief of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in the effective role of women in society, desire to support, empower and integrate working Bahraini women in national development plans and enhance their access to higher leadership and executive positions and commitment to the non-discrimination against women policy, the Secretariat-General of the SCW is pleased to announce the launch of the 4th edition of HRH Princess Sabeeka’s Award for Women Empowerment for 2013 to be among the mechanisms it adopts to consolidate the programmes and plans of public and private institutions to empower Bahraini women, according to the criteria and conditions required for winning it. |

Askar issues decision to form joint committee to support Olympic team |

Manama, Sept. 5 (BNA) -- His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has designated Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), to form a joint committee featuring members of the BOC and the Bahrain Football Association to support Olympic team.
The team was crowned champions of the recently-concluded Fifth GCC Football Championship, which took place in Bahrain. |

A Bahraini study: national media boost citizenship and public opinion |

Manama: Sept. 4 -- (BNA)-- A recent postgraduate research study indicated that the various organizations of national media in the Kingdom of Bahrain play a pivotal role in boosting citizenship and public opinion under the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The media most visited by Bahraini audience is the internet at 36.75% followed by TV at 28.5%, local newspapers at 21.5% and radio at 13.25%. |

Bahraini-Korean friendship and cooperation relations: past, present and future prospects |

Manama: August 26 -- (BNA) -- , Kingdom of Bahrain officially welcomes the upcoming visit of the Korean Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Chung Hong-won who arrives here today in a two-day official visit which is his first visit to the region since he has assumed office last February.
During the visit, both sides are expected to discuss aspects of boosting existing cooperation relations, explore regional and international issues of mutual interest, political, economic, security, military, educational, vocational training, health, energy and other aspects of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries. |

Manama, Aug 15 (BNA) -- Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Issam Awad told Bahrain News Agency that Bahrain's government has dealt with the so-called Bahrain rebellion movement wisely and effectively and in accordance with the international laws followed in such cases, describing the Bahrain rebellion movement as a clone of the Egyptian one, saying that such clone calls have no hope of success. |
