BIPD launches training programme for university youth
Manama, Feb. 16 (BNA): Out of its strong belief in the role of youth and their impact on the future of the political process and democratic march in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to activate the role of the largest segment of the Bahraini society and contribute to the preparation of youth leaders, politically qualified and able to participate in public affairs in a sustainable way as well as to disseminate political and human rights awareness and values of citizenship and belonging among young people, the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) launched a training programme for university youth.

Bahraini-Egyptian relations highlighted
Manama , Oct 28 (BNA): Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's visit tomorrow to Bahrain to meet with HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa highlights three important points: Firstly, it accentuates the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, especially during the recent years, when rapid changes have had their impact on promoting joint communication. Secondly, both leaderships have realized the need for the exchange of views and consultation in respect of issues of joint interest, chiefly the thorny issues that cast a shadow over the security and stability of the region's countries. Thirdly, the need to continue a high-level coordination in the interest of the two nations and the mutual national goals.

Eid brought joy, happiness to people’s hearts
By // Farishta Saeed Manama, July 25 (BNA): Families and neighbours got together for lunches and dinners and friends went out and enjoyed the special Eid programmes, be it concerts, Eid carnivals or a full fun day at resorts. The malls in Bahrain were packed with citizens and visitors mainly from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the roads were jammed with traffic and many took the five-day break a chance to travel abroad for a short holiday escaping both from the heat and the crowd.
