Tennis Federation vice president heads to London

Manama, July 11 (BNA): HE Shaikh Abdul Aziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, left for the British capital London to participate in the International Tennis Federation, conference which will discuss Tennis related subjects and development.


The session will focus on key topics, which include, in particular, utilizing data and measuring insight; Health benefits of participating in physical activity and sport; attracting more women to sport and strategies for attracting more people to tennis and how technology can assist in driving participation.


The Vice president will also meet with the President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) David Haggarty and Asian Tennis Federation President (ATF) Anil Kana. .



There will also be side meetings with tennis officials to increase joint cooperation and the possibility of supporting Bahrain Tennis Federation to increase its external participation , Tennis camps and the hosting of the International Tennis events.



His Excellency Shaikh Abdulaziz Al Khalifa will be accompanied by Khamis Al-Muqla, Bahrain Tennis Club President, who said that participation in this conference will be beneficial to the tennis game in Bahrain and the joint cooperation between the Bahrain Tennis Federation and the Bahrain Tennis Club.
