The members lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s interest in and support for the centre, praising the royal efforts to consolidate co-existence, tolerance and peace across the world, which, they said, will reflect positively on the centre’s activities and programmes.
They discussed the centre’s upcoming establishment phases so as to implement its social, intellectual, scientific and media goals.
The board also discussed the centre’s upcoming activities and events in which the centre will be involved at the local and international levels.
Those activities aim to disseminate the principles of co-existence, tolerance and peace, and to promote the centre’s message to the world calling for consolidating openness and moderation as integrated approaches.
The Board of Trustees approved the inauguration of the "Kingdom of Bahrain Bahrain Declaration Platform", as the centre’s maiden event.
The members visited the Platform’s site located at the Isa Cultural Centre and the offices.
