SAFF files complaint with FIFA against Qatari channel
Riyadh, June 18 (BNA): The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has filed a formal complaint with the International Federation of Football (FIFA) over the exploitation by Qatar's "beIN Sports" network (formerly Aljazeera) of owning rights to the 2018 World Cup finals in the Middle East to broadcast political messages aimed at insulting Saudi Arabia and its leaders within the framework of incitement and spreading hatred among fans and peoples in the region and as an extension of the excesses of this network and continuing to employ them for political purposes far from sports.

UAE to grant one-year residency for stricken countries’ nationals
Abu Dhabi, June 18 (BNA): The UAE Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has adopted a resolution granting nationals of countries facing war and natural disasters a one-year stay permit, in solidarity with the people of affected nations and to offer them a chance to improve their living conditions until they are ready to return to their home countries.

Manama, June 18 (BNA): Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, that the installation works of electrical cables on Um Al Nasan Avenue in Riffa necessitate closure of one lane between Riffa Avenue and Emhazwarah Avenue and one lane will be provided for traffic movement.
